🏆 MNE 2026 Micrograph & Nanograph Contest
The 2026 Micrograph & Nanograph Contest is now open for entries.
Select your most striking micrograph or micro-video and share it with the MNE community. You may submit as many entries as you like.
🔵 The MNEer’s Choice Award
For the tenth year, MNE attendees will be able to vote for their favourite micrograph. Each entry will be identified by a numbered blue dot.
The sooner you submit your entry, the sooner other attendees can see it—improving your chances of receiving votes.
How to enter
- Select your favourite micrograph(s) and/or micro-video(s). You may enter as many times as you like.
- For each entry, download the PowerPoint template and Entry Form below. Insert your micrograph or video into the template and complete the entry form with the requested information.
If you submit more than one entry, please combine all entries into one PowerPoint file and combine all entry forms into one Word file. - Name your PowerPoint file:

- Name your Entry Form file:
📄 MNEForm-2026-Your-Name-Your-Institution.doc
- Email your micrograph(s) and/or micro-video(s), together with your completed Entry Form(s), to both:
- Special Note: For the tenth year, there will be an MNEer’s Choice Award, allowing conference attendees to vote for their favourite micrograph. Each entry will be identified by a numbered blue dot.
- The sooner you submit your entry, the more likely it is to receive web exposure. Entries submitted only during the conference will be seen by the judges, but may not be seen by all attendees.
We therefore highly recommend submitting entries by 21 September 2026. Entries may still be accepted, at the judges’ discretion, until midnight on 22 September 2026.
- If you win, you can become Micro-Famous and Nano-Rich! 😄
